Katsurao Collective（カツラオコレクテイブ）について
現代アートが社会での実践を展開し、 アートと社会との接点が深まる現代において、 “アーティスト・コレクティブ ”※ の存在はますます重要になってきています。 コレクティブという枠組みは、 アート活動を個人主義的な創作活動の 枠から解き放ち、 より多様でフレキシプルな アートの形を社会へと提示します。 多様な価値観を持ちながら、創造性という価値でつながり一緒に活動を始める。 Katsurao Collectiveは、この地でそのようなコレクテイプとなることを目指すプロジェクト名であり、創造性という価値でつながる共同体の名前でもあります。
Katsurao Collective
Artist collectives are becoming more and more vital in the modern age as the practice of contemporary art develops in society and the connection between art and society deepens. The framework of the collective frees art from the restrictions of individualistic creative practice to present art to society in a more diverse and flexible form. The Katsurao Collective is the name given to both the project to form such a collective in this region and to a community bonded together by respect for creativity.
